Bristol DJs serving up a healthy dose of the finest funk, soul, beats, breaks, reggae, electrogroove, dancehall & whatever!

Loosegroove have been regulars on the Bristol & London bar/club scenes since 2002 with past residencies at Roxy, PamPam & The Park Bar and appearances at Arc, Industry and Fabric.

Loosegroove is 6 DJs; Greg, Ben, Ivan, James, Charlie and Helen DJing under the names Boomslang, BdubU, The Van, Jams, DJ CJ and Dr Q respectively.

Loosegroove have been regular DJs at the Womad festival and are currently resident DJs at Bristol's Amoeba on Friday nights.

Loosegroove also play a show every other Wednesday on www.spaceinvaderradio.com.

The Classic 1970’s funk box produces super-funky wah like tones- straight up your area party music with an emphasis on bass. Dr Q generates punchy filter sweeps, for a rhythmic groove, using classic and box-fresh hip hop, funk and breaks. She's often found rocking the single-celled block party that is Amoeba.
